We have worked with Village Water on a project in Mozambique which benefits 355 people and this is a little bit more about it.
The last follow-up (March 2023) visit showed 100% of households had built their own toilet & hand washing facilities. There were no cases of waterborne disease reported during the last follow-up, compared to 35% at the first follow up (Nov 2022).
Community water collection before & after your support.
42-year-old Rui, pictured using the new waterpoint told us during the most recent visit, “All members of the community were very happy because their children are safe from crocodiles in rivers.Children are safe from water borne diseases and are able to get to school on time every day. The community its now drinking potable and clean water. We hope this project continues expanding to more communities in need of clean water.”
