We have worked with Village Water on a project in Mozambique which benefits 324 people and this is a little bit more about it.
By the last follow-up (Nov 22) every household had either built their own private toilet, or improved the quality of an existing one. The community had drawn up a schedule for pump maintenance & cleaning.
Lurdes, photographed using the pump, told us, “now we have more time to do other activities in order to help our household.”
For the thousands that you supported last year, the project truly was life changing. Women & girls now have more time & energy without the task of water collection. Suddenly, school & work become real possibilities for everyone
